What is sWEEE?

The full legal definition, including a list of illustrative sWEEE items, can be found in annex 5 of the Separate Collection of Waste Materials for Recycling: A Code of Practice for Wales. This definition includes household-like sWEEE such as kettles and toasters as well as more specialist non-household like items such as handheld medical devices and industrial instruments and tools.

Section 5 of the Code of Practice has further details on which premises are obligated under the Law.
